Introduction |
The Aeronautical Society of India, Chandigarh Branch has always played a vital role in nurturing the indigenous scientific talent and promoting professionalism in the field of aerospace sector. Since its inception this branch has been associated with many important technical events of national importance. The strength of the members is drawn from major establishments such as TBRL, 3BRD Air Force,CSIO, Airlines, BEL, SASE, RCMA, and Educational Institutes etc. This branch has strengthened its membership and is concentrating to upgrade the technology and help the nation to define appropriate technologies. It has played a pivotal role in bringing together government agencies, private industries, public sectors, and academia on a common platform for promoting aerospace sciences by organizing various technical seminars, exhibitions, workshops etc.
The main objectives of the AeSI, Chandigarh Branch have been:
- Promotion of active interaction among aerospace community and professional growth of members.
- Organising technical meets, seminars, exhibitions etc.
- Active interaction with industries engaged in aerospace activities.
